Nice to Meet You!

My name is Carly Nichols.

I'm majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Cultural Proficiency at San Diego State University. I'm a proud member of the Harrison Lab, which specializes in bioanalytical separations using capillary electrophoresis, or CE for short. I was appointed to MARC (Maximizing Access to Research Careers) in September 2023. After obtaining my PhD, I'm hoping to start a career in forensics.

I enjoy reading horror novels and spending time with my five cats. I'm very close with my two younger brothers. I love pastels (especially pink), Sanrio, cats, and stuffed animals. One of my strongest passions in life is helping disadvantaged youth/students, as I have been in their shoes and know how difficult it is.
